Because Pleasant View is a Life Plan Community (also known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community), you’ll benefit from a full spectrum of services and conveniences that make living worry-free and easy. The availability of this continuum of care provides the assurance that you will always have a place to call home.
As a not-for-profit community Pleasant View has created the Benevolent Care Fund, serving as a safety net to ensure residents in need of care will always receive it, regardless of financial position.

The supportive services offered in Terrace Gardens at Pleasant View enhance the lives of active individuals who need assistance with everyday activities. The care and support offered enhances lifestyles, encourages autonomy and assures peace of mind for loved ones.
Rehabilitation Services
The J. Calvin Wenger Health and Wellness Center is the home for Pleasant View’s nursing care and rehabilitation accommodations. Pleasant View’s skilled nursing care has been consistently rated 5 stars for overall quality by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
After an unexpected illness or scheduled surgery, returning home is your priority – getting you there is ours. Working together with LGH/Penn Medicine as a member of their Preferred Provider Network, Pleasant View’s rehabilitation services strive to help patients regain strength and mobility and achieve their personal discharge goals.
Memory Care
Every 65 seconds, someone in the United States is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. As the need for specialized memory care increases, providing this care has become a priority for Pleasant View. With two areas of living specifically designed to support those facing a dementia diagnosis, knowledgeable and compassionate staff not only cares for residents but support family and caregivers with individualized care plans and a memory loss support group.
