Specialized Memory Care
Pleasant View has two living areas specifically designed for residents with dementia or dementia-related illnesses. We motivate residents to be as active and independent as possible while providing them with a safe and secure environment with personalized and purposeful structure and routine. Knowledgeable and compassionate staff not only cares for residents but involve family and caregivers, offering support and education through individualized care plans and educational programming and resources.
Cognitive Care
When more care is required to continue life skills, one of the private rooms or semi-private suites in Reminiscence could be an appropriate choice. In this location, specialists in memory support provide skilled care for residents experiencing more difficulties with tasks of daily living. Activities designed to engage the mind and stimulate physical activity and socialization are integral parts of programming in Reminiscence. Pet visitations, music therapy, aromatherapy, and hands-on crafts help spark memories, ease tensions, and create positive changes in mood.
The Meadows at Terrace Gardens has 35 private rooms for persons with mild memory impairment. Trained staff encourage as much independence as possible while assisting with daily tasks. Residents participate in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities to stay active and engaged, while specialized programs help stimulate mental and physical activity and increase social interaction. Personal Care is fee-for-service based on a daily rate. Pleasant View does not offer subsidized housing.
Specialized Care
In either of these settings, caregivers provide compassionate and specialized care and help treat the symptoms and problems associated with diseases that affect memory, such as Alzheimer’s Disease. It is our philosophy that we are dedicated to ensuring that every individual is valued, as we focus on what is left, not on what has been lost.
